經期早到好困擾?
月經遲到固之然令人擔心,一個月還未過去月經又再來?如果連續兩三個週期月經都提前一週以上來到,就要注意這是身體向你發出求救訊號!月經提早前來在中醫理論稱為「經行先期」,是指月經週期縮短到21至23日內,甚至一個月來兩次。想對症下藥,除了要留心月經的流量、顏色等特徵,也要看有沒有明顯的伴隨症狀,以分辨經行先期的成因。如果症狀持續就建議諮詢註冊中醫師意見。

晚睡嗜辣陰虛型
症狀:頭暈、心悸、失眠、腰痠、手足心熱等
月經特徵:月經量少、色紅、無血塊
調理方法:清熱滋陰,適量進食雪耳、百合、枸杞子、花旗參、雪梨等,忌吃辛辣、油膩、偏熱性食物,忌晚睡熬夜。

材料:紅米、白米、黑芝麻、黑豆
功效:補救熬夜、烏髮養腎、紓緩腰痠

過度勞累氣虛型
症狀:小腹有下墜感覺、身疲乏力、氣短等
月經特徵:月經量多或少、色淡、質稀
調理方法:補氣固精,適量進食薯仔、番薯、淮山、黨參、靈芝等,忌吃生冷食物,不宜進行劇烈運動。

材料:紅米、白米、紅豆
功效:紅潤面色、安神助眠、補血養胃

壓力逼爆肝鬱型
症狀:乳房或小腹脹痛、心煩易怒 口苦、喉嚨乾等
月經特徵:月經顏色紫黯、夾有血塊
調理方法:疏肝解鬱,適量飲用花茶,進食蓮藕、白蘿蔔、陳皮等,避免熬夜及進食辛辣食物。

材料:玫瑰花、桂花、佛手、佛手花
功效:行氣解鬱,紓緩忙碌、經常嘆氣、精神壓力大、月經不適等症狀。

Are you worried about your period coming early?
Late period can be worrisome, but what if it was early and you get your period twice in a month? If your period arrives a week early for two or three cycles continuously, this might be a distressed signal! Early period, according to Chinese medicine theories, is defined by a shorted menstruation cycle of 21 – 23 days. In some cases, an individual might go through the cycle twice a month.

In order to tackle this problem, we need to observe symptoms such as volume of the menstrual fluid and color, as well as other accompanying symptoms. This will help us identify the cause behind the condition of early menstrual period. If symptoms persist, do consult registered and licensed Chinese practitioners.

Type: late sleeper and spicy food lover with yin deficiency
Symptoms: dizziness, heart palpitations, soreness in waist, warm palms and foot soles
Period signs: low volume of menstrual fluid, red in color, does not have blood clots
Care tips: clear heat and replenish yin; consume an appropriate amount of snow fungus, lily, wolfberry, American ginseng, and pear; avoid eating spicy, greasy and heaty food; sleep early.

✔Rice Water Recommendation:
Dusk Rice Water
Ingredients: Red Rice, White Rice, Black Sesame, Black Bean
 Effects: Remedy to frequent late nights. Improves hair quality and nourish kidneys, relieves sore lower back

Type: overly exhausted with qi deficiency
Symptoms: sinking feeling in the abdomen, lack of stamina, shortness of breath
Period signs: low volume of menstrual fluid, pale and diluted
Care tips: Replenish qi and vital energy; consume an appropriate amount of potato, sweet potato, Chinese yam, Codonopsis Root, Ganoderma lucidum (‘ling zhi’); avoid eating raw and cold food; avoid strenuous exercises.

Red Bean Rice Water
Ingredients: Red Rice, White Rice, Red Bean
Effects: Achieves rosy complexion, calms the mind and improves sleep and replenish blood and nourish the stomach

Type: high stress level that links to the liver’s health
Symptoms: bloating, swelling and pain in the breasts or abdomen; gets frustrated easily, bitter taste in the mouth, dry throat
Period signs: menstrual fluid in dark purplish color; comes with blood clots
Care tips: relieve stress; drink an appropriate amount of floral tea; consume lotus root, white radish and dried orange peels; avoid eating spicy food, and sleep early.

✔Beauty Tea Recommendation:
Stress
Ingredients: Rose, Sweet Osmanthus, Fingered Citron, Fingered Citron Flower
Effects: Promotes qi circulation and relieves stagnation. Suitable for busy lifestyle, frequent sighing, stressfulness and menstrual discomfort
Note:Not suitable for pregnant or menstruating women.
